​ABOUT TLC

The Learning Collaborative is a comprehensive preschool program with hands-on involvement between teachers, students, families, patrons and the community. TLC has earned a Five-Star license from the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education.  For more than 10 years, TLC has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  Both the Five-Star rating and NAEYC accreditation are major achievements in early education. Only a small handful of preschools in Mecklenburg County have been awarded both of these certifications.
